JANUARY 12, 2015

This last week has been pretty crazy as far as traveling goes. We only had two days that we were completely in our area. Monday, which is pday, and Sunday. Somehow we still managed to do everything we needed to do for our area this week! But I'm gonna guess it has to do with a lot of help from the Lord.

So Pday was fairly boring as far as entertainment goes. As Magnolia is a small town there isnt really that much to do. We managed to find a few things to do and we actually found a rummikub set today that Elder Hainsworth decided to buy so we will be busy for the next couple hours haha. Monday night we got a call from our district leaders to drive down to Rustin, LA and have interviews with the president at 9 o clock in the morning! That disrupted our plans a little bit..

So Tuesday morning we woke up at 6:30 and drove to Rustin almost immediately after we woke up, Stopped in El Dorado to pick up the other Elders and drove down. The interview was kinda cool and nice to get to know president McDonough better. He set some goals for me and I feel like I'll be able to easily meet them. When we finally got back I went on splits with a member named Brother O and we were able to meet with a woman who pretty much absorbed everything we taught her. On Wednesday we had DDM and drove down to El Dorado again so we were out of our area even longer and had trouble contacting anyone that day. We did a lot of tracting without getting much. Thursday turned out pretty good though when we tracted the first house we hit was a guy and he was totally willing to listen and to find out for himself if the church was true. Later that night I drove almost four hours to get to Ridgeville, MS. We went on exchanges with the APs on Friday and Saturday and I learned a lot. And of course Saturday night I had to drive basically another four hours to get back to Magnolia. Sunday morning I woke up to the phone ringing at 5:48 am. For some reason church got canceled and weirded out the whole day. It was barely raining and we still aren't sure why that happened... But we tried our best to do what we could with what we had.

Sorry for the shortness of words but I need to leave to go help some people move today and I look forward to hearing from you all next week. Have a good one!

Love,

Elder Nally
