DECEMBER 5, 2016

Howdy y'all! It's been a week out here in Collins haha. My companero ended up getting sick with strep throat so we basically did nothing all week. woohoo! However a really nice inactive kid we had been working with came to church even though we werent there and I was super excited for that! :) Also, I'm pretty sure my immune system is cool beans because I didn't get strep and I dont think I will. Doctors said my comp would stop being contagious around yesterday and I feel normal! Other than that, it rained for the first time in like 2 months and it really hasn't stopped this week.

For those of you who will be around and have the time and would like to see my face again, I will be giving a talk in church on the 18th of December with the meeting time beginning at 11 o'clock at 3527 w Happy Valley Road PHOENIXArizona 85310 :)

Also, as a side note, while making a joke that i would be speaking this month to the council that determines who to speak each month in church, they decided it would be wonderful for me to give a talk in Collins on the 11th as well xD.

This is my last full week as a full time missionary. And as my companion has recovered we plan on working our little booties off until the time stops! We also have a visit from a seventy on Friday. so that's pretty cool.

Anyways,
Love y'all! Have a great week

NOVEMBER 21, 2016

.Not too much happened this week other than we tried to find some cool people. But I wanted to share with y'all something that the Lord shared with me. As I am serving in a small branch, I have the opportunity to help out in a lot of different ways. One of the things my companion and I get to do most often is to bless the sacrament. One of the times I had the opportunity to do so, I could feel the spirit very strongly and looked down at the bread I was breaking and had a few tender thoughts. I though, "I am breaking the body of Jesus Christ. When I have sinned, I literally could have taken a whip to his back, or hung him on the cross myself." We have a wonderful opportunity to take the sacrament and remember the sacrifice that he made and I invite you to take that time more seriously. Remember Him, and remember that it is because of us that his body was broken and his blood spilt. Take responsibility for those things and let gratitude overcome the pride you have, and experience the blessings our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us.
I do hope you have a wonderful week. :)

NOVEMBER 14, 2016

They say a picture is worth a thousand words right? :) here is a picture of me in a Tardis!
This week has been a great week we had a chance to go up to a little place called McGee and try to do some work up there! My companion and I have had some time to get used to one another and things are going slowly but surely here in Collins, MS. I have a really hard time putting my thoughts and feelings into words. But I really enjoy whats going on here! I hope y'all have a great one!

OCTOBER 3, 2016

Good morning!
Its been a fantastic week here! I was transferred to Collins, MS on tuesday. Reminiscent of Magnolia, AR this area is quite the po-dunk little place and I LOVE it haha. My new companion Elder Hougaard is awesome and we are just going! haha.
Like previous weeks all I really have and feel I need to say is that God is marvelous, wonderful, awesome, good, and has a hand in each of our lives. I am grateful for the gift of agency that we have been given and the revelation that comes when we petition our God.
This weekend we heard from the men He has chosen to be His spokesmen. As a repeated message of importance in my life and one given yesterday again. I challenge you all to always remember the greatness of God. The spiritual promptings of your life, the confirmations, the miracles, the blessings. Consistently through the scriptures the children of God failed to follow His commandments because they could or would NOT REMEMBER. And the same thing occurs in our lives when we forget. When we take for granted. As my father may recall, I have no skills in the remembering department. It is hard for me. But as I do and as I have, How could I ever have forgotten? God will not forget us. And as we remember Him we will be blessed with a humility and love and faith stronger than we have ever felt before. This I know and testify of in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2016

Hello all!
Its been a fantastic week here in the stonewall area! Unfortunately I found out last night that I will be leaving to go to a new place. So I'll see how that goes.

We met a really awesome person from Kenya on Saturday! She has had a pretty difficult life and has only been here for 4 months and still trying to catch up on everything and anything! She ended up coming to church on sunday and loving it and the people there and they took her right in and I think she will be just fine with their help!

And again. God is good.

SEPTEMBER 6, 2016

Hope yall enjoyed Labor day!
We have had a pretty awesome week this week. A man we are teaching has made some crazy changes in his life and honestly because of how much it is he almost doesn't seem like the guy I originally met. And that's awesome! This morning we stopped in at Walmart to go shopping and just out of the blue someone we hadn't seen has been having a super hard time with her fiancé and mother trying to give her a bunch of Anti Mormon things and not letting her do what she wants to do of her own free will. But she still wants to learn! I don't know guys. God is just good. That's all I have to say this week. Ill try to do better at sharing experiences but if nothing else. God is good. haha Love y'all!
