Hello one and all! I have had a fantastic week, but that's just about like any other week haha. There can be nothing less than that if you have the right attitude! So I guess this week I again have the opportunity to apologize for the lack of email and lack of information in those emails! Ill try to do a little better!
I just wanted to share with y'all my absolute favorite things about missionary work. and they happen just about everyday out here while we do what we can.
My absolute favorite thing is teaching somebody who wants to learn something. And seeing the understanding in there eyes illuminated. And I always thought that was a weird word to use, right up until I saw it happen! I love it when we can see their faith grow and their desire expand and its just awesome to be a missionary. So I hope y'all know that.
Something else that I always find great is the comfort the lord offers to those that are down trodden! john 14:18 and Alma 17:10 for those in the missionary service after it gets hard. The lord will come. I know it because I've experienced it and it is wonderful! Love Y'all and have a blessed week!

I arrived here in Stonewall Louisiana at the end of May this year, and since my arrival I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with a couple. Two people among many that I have grown to love and also whom I am very excited for as they plan on being married next week and baptized the week after that! Just like the progression of anybody, it has been a process. The scriptures in Alma 32 compare growing our faith in any particular thing to planting a seed and taking care of the tree that sprouts until and after the fruit grows of it. There is a serious amount of time in between the planting of a seed and the time where we could potentially partake of its fruit. And the in-between is a bunch of work. We cannot stop watering our tree sprout before the fruit grows and say, "The fruit of this tree is not good." We have not really tasted of it. Many leave the path of no particular cause because the quantity of work that is involved being too much. If we want to be an athlete, we have to put in the practice, over and over and over. If we want to be a pianist, the same principle applies and in so many other places. So we have to ask ourselves before we leave a path we have started on, "Have I done enough to see the end results of what im doing?" We can look at others who have walked the path before us and examine the results of the path they took.
This week has been really awesome. I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real. I also know that there is an opposing force. And as I have done what I could, to the best of my ability, in being clean, the spirit of the Lord has been more present in my life. My companion and I have been led to people who we literally felt were ready to receive the gospel. I watched my own faith grow and flourish. Unfortunately, I don't have much more time to write today, but I know of the strength and help that comes when we just sincerely ask for it. And I invite you to make the effort you can to stay on the path of God

So Happy fourth of July! I don't have much time to write but this last transfer has been a fantastic one. Im staying in the stonewall area and I received a call last night that I would be training a new missionary and its an experience that I very much look forward to. His name is Elder Dugmore! From Utah! He has come already trained and we get along great so I'm excited for what will happen this transfer! Sorry its so short! Love y'all!

Hey Y'all! It's been a fantastic week over here in the Stonewall area! We got to talk to a lot of good people and have a lot of fun times! :D I really don't have a whole lot to share this week but my testimony has been increased and I feel cleaner than I ever have before. I can actually see the product of my work in one transfer and that is kinda crazy and doesn't usually happen down here! Sorry for the short email this week, it really comes because we have worked hard this week and I don't have the energy or desire to send a bigger email haha. Y'all have a blessed week!

There have been lot of really cool things that have happened this last week. The first being that we had a zone conference yesterday and that is the reason I am emailing today. There were a lot of things taught there with the spirit of God that helped a lot of missionaries in this zone.
On Friday I reached the period of time of 18 months. I STILL feel as though I just left the mtc. They tell ya that the time flies but nobody believes it until they experience it! All of the sisters that began their missions at the same time as me are going home and it is so strange. For a long time it felt as though I would be doing this for what seemed then forever! But reality is setting in as I have seen some of my closest friends prepare to leave the mission field and realize that I am not that far behind. It seems that is all anyone wants to tell me when I meet them anyhow haha. But don't worry, I haven't slowed down at all, in fact I have started going faster. Seems that when I can see the end I work harder. I think its been that way for the majority of my life. I really feel as though Im finally starting to grip my head around the responsibility that has been on my shoulders for this long and how to accomplish it. I'm a little sad it took me this long but the experiences that I have had I wouldn't trade for anything.
We taught an investigator couple this last Saturday again that the elders here had been teaching for some time. And these two wonderful people have made leaps and bounds in the happiness that they have had in their lives. They attended church on sunday and had a wonderful experience. I just have seen so many people grow and learn to love. Its changed who I am. Not really the things I love to do just the person I am on the inside. I never considered myself a bad person. But the atonement of Jesus Christ is there to make a bad man good, and a good man better. And I've experienced it in myself and seen it in the lives of many.
Another cool experience I was able to have was to attend a conference for the Spanish missionaries. Apparently I've learned enough to be that involved! I wont be officially a Spanish speaking elder but the mission president wants to use all of us in the ways that are needed and possible so its likely at some point I will end in an area that there will be at least a few Spanish speakers! The spirit was really strong at the conference and allowed me to build a lot of confidence in my ability to actually speak the language because of the capacity I had to understand and speak for a portion of the time. Obviously a lot more practice is needed but Im amazed at the progress so far.
All in all life is good. The spirit of the Lord is present in my life and Im not scared to shout in on the rooftops. I do hope that yall have a blessed week!

Hello one and all and welcome to the Elder Nally email! We have had a splendid week and cannot believe how quickly the time is going by but that seems to be a consistent struggle for me! So now here I am, 20 years old and I have a real solid testimony of Jesus Christ. I try to share it with people everyday, regardless of what happens. For me, life is great! The people we meet are responding to the spirit. And some are choosing to follow the promptings that they receive. Suffice it to say that God has His hand where it needs to be, in every situation. Hakuna Matata right? haha
Y'all have a blessed week!

Its been a fantastic week for me. I've learned of the strength and the ability to work that I have learned as a missionary. So I am grateful that I have found a source of strength stronger than my own will and might.
Many things have happened this week but the first and greatest is that although I miss my family and friends and I still have things I want to do. I feel truly happy and peaceful.
We had an investigator couple attend church this week and they enjoyed it. I have been able to see them change in only 2 weeks. The power the gospel has is limitless. Just like that really cool movie!
I would invite all of yall if you aren't already doing it to read from the Book of Mormon for 30 minutes a day. Its not too long when you think about all the time we have in a day. Its a fountain and source of strength that I have found when I just don't have the energy to keep going!
Anyways! Yall have a wonderful week
