This week has been a good week! Not so good as far as how many people we were able to teach or find or whatever but as far as learning a little something about myself and about God! 

This week we were told by someone whom we believed was progressing very well that because Jesus Christ is portrayed as a white man all religions are false... I am not quite certain what color Christ is. To me it doesn't really matter. Going beyond the general racism is not ok and its dumb, regardless of whatever color He may be He still came to earth as a babe. He still went to the Garden of Gethsemane and was hung on the cross at Calvary. He died for our sins and was resurrected to give us all an opportunity to return to our Father. It frustrates me so much that the rift caused by the superiority complex of men in the past is affecting the salvation of those generations born after the damaging deeds were committed. I continue to hope and pray for this person to one day realize that just because of a few people's imaginative minds and some who may even have a real idea that have pictured Christ as such that He still loves us and that church really is important for us to have the strength we need. 
I apologize for the frustration rant. It was needed.

On a completely different note yesterday was a really good day. When I woke up I felt refreshed and ready to go. I did some early morning studies of the Book of Mormon to try and ready myself for the Sacrament. As the day progressed and as I was able to take the Sacrament I felt a physical difference in the way I was feeling and a settling of fears and doubts was about me. I felt peaceful and it was great.
